Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. ClipMoose has no accounts, no sign-up, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't collect, store, sell or share any personal information, and we don't receive the videos you use or make.

How the app uses your phone

ClipMoose asks for these permissions, and only uses them on your device:

• Photos: so you can choose videos to use as instruments, and save the videos you make to your camera roll.
• Camera: so you can record new sounds straight into a project.
• Microphone: so recordings have sound, and the app can find the hits in them.

The app analyses audio on your iPhone to find percussive hits and pitches. Copies of the clips you import, and the projects you make, are stored inside the app on your device. They are removed if you delete the app. You can turn any permission off at any time in Settings.

Sharing

Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it, for example by saving a finished video to Photos or sending it through the share sheet to another app. What happens after that is covered by the privacy policy of wherever you sent it.

Children

ClipMoose doesn't collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, for instance if a future version adds a feature that needs to send data somewhere, we'll update this page and its effective date before that version ships.
